Description
Built in 1994 the WRC edition was a run of 2,500 units built to homologate the World Rally Championship car with features such as the plumbing for the Anti Lag system installed but not connected as well as water spray bar and pump installed for the front intercooler but again not fitted. Other features included a small lip spoiler fitted at the edge of the bonnet towards the windscreen, extended rear spoiler and ABS.
This particular example finished in gloss black and rare for a WRC model, black leather interior. Originally supplied new in Japan in 1994 before being imported to the UK in 2007 and showing 5 previous keepers on the UK log book. Owned by the current owner since 2016.
Sold with a large history file including many previous MOT certificates, invoices for work including timing belt with tensioners at 89,000 miles, replacement water pump, thermostat and alternator and engine flush at 101,000 miles, rear differential strip down, shot blast and powder coat, rebuilt with new bearings and seals in 2021 as well as many other maintenance jobs and multiple services.
Currently showing 106,000 miles and MOT till October 2022.
