Description
The MKVI Gazelle, introduced in 1965 saw an updated front grill design attached the the front panels instead of the rounded grills of earlier cars that attached to the bonnet. The most noticeable change was the introduction of an all new 1725cc 5 bearing crank engine to replace the outdated 1500cc engine in earlier cars.
This particular example, first registered February 1967 and finished in white with contrasting red body stripe to match the red interior. Sold with a large history file filled with receipts for maintenance and work carried out, previous sale adverts and magazine features as well as photographs from the car being displayed at the NEC car show in the early 2000s. Also included are many previous MOT certificates, original handbook and other related documents.
Showing 40,000 miles although a documented speedo change at 10,000 miles means the correct mileage is 50,000 with traceable history to give good credibility to that being correct.
