Description
Originally registred in 1974 this SE5a model Reliant Scimitar has undergone a full body off restoration of the chassis with the intention of converting to a Saab 2 litre tubro conversion.
The engine a Saab B204 removed from a 46,000 mile automatic Saab 900 has been fitted with custom engine mounts and is fitted to a BMW Getrag 5 speed gearbox with the help of a PMC motosports CNC machined adapter plate. Supplied with new spec flywheel and clutch.
The chassis has been stripped back, repaired including new stainless steel outriggers to both sides before being sealed and painted in gloss black Por-15 with contrasting grey parts such as rear axle and wishbones etc.
Rebuilt rear axle as well as polybushed watts linkage and sway bars, sold with all new wheel barings and rear brake rebuilt kit.
Sold with Saab parts required to complete conversion including original engine ECU and loom adapter to convert ecu inputs down to 5 wires as well as many other scimitar parts including dash, glass including windscreen and many other parts removed from the car.
Sold with file of receipts for parts and work carried out.
