Starting life in September 1985 as a 1.3 L model before being fully stripped back to bare shell freshly painted in Ford Cedar Green. Rebuilt with a 1600cc CVH engine from a low mileage Escort MK5 retro fitted with twin weber 40 carburettors, 4 branch manifold and genuine RS1600i rocker cover.
The full underside has been stripped and powder coated including new suspension components, Brembo 4 piston callipers to the front with RS discs, Koni adjustable shocks and springs and full polybush set.
The body has been upgraded with genuine RS1600i front splitter, rear spoiler, fog lamps and decals along with the interior getting Escort Cosworth HEX Recaro front seats, RS Steering wheel, GHIA door trim and custom made CAD designed roll cage.
Showing 74,000 miles on the odometer, Sold with extensive history file including hundreds of photos of the restoration as well as receipts for parts, maintenance and upgrades.
