The third generation M5 took the term Super Saloon to a whole new level fitted with a 4.9 litre aluminium V8 producing 394bhp using BMW's double vanos system and individual throttle adding to a spectacular engine note as well as bags of Torque being produced right through the rev range giving a 0-60 time of just 5.3 seconds.
